Your Dental Implant Dentist
Dr Wong Tuck Wai
Dr Wong Tuck Wai (BDS, NUS) is an experienced dental surgeon and guided surgery practitioner with a strong focus on periodontal treatment and management before complex full arch restorations to restore missing and/or damaged teeth.
He also has a keen interest in biomimetic fillings for aesthetic composite dental restorations.
He is known for handling high volumes of implant cases with steady, methodical execution.
Dr Wong is our resident “aunty charmer,” and has a good relationship with all his patients at the clinic.
Whether he is:
Replacing missing teeth with guided surgery planned dental implants;
Stabilising gum disease and reducing inflammation before placing dental implants;
Or managing complex periodontal conditions to create a healthier base for restorative work like overdentures and All-on-x dental implants,
Dr Wong approaches each case with clarity, precision, and a calm attention to detail, especially when it comes to ensuring how long results will last.
Outside of clinical work, he enjoys travelling and spending time with his daughter.
“For complex implant work, doing it properly matters more than doing it quickly. The right foundation, implant position, and prosthetic design are what help treatment last. We want to build foundations and treatments that last.”

Frequently Asked Questions
Common Questions That Patients Ask Dr Wong Tuck Wai
Am I suitable for dental implants if I have bone loss?
Bone loss does not always mean that you are not suitable for dental implants.
Dental implants can still be done even if you have bone loss. However, depending on the depth of bone loss, we will tweak your treatment plan.
During the initial consultation, we will assess the amount, height and quality of bone you have using X-rays and/or CBCT 3D scans.
If there is insufficient or minimal bone, we will then recommend whether bone grafting, block grafting, sinus lift (for upper implant placements), or another approach is necessary.
What is the difference between dentures, overdentures, and All-on-X?
Do I need a sinus lift before dental implants?
Can I replace all my missing teeth with fixed teeth?
Are overdentures better than normal dentures?
Should I have 2 or 4 dental implants for my overdentures?
What happens if my case is complex or I have been told I am not suitable for implants?
Do I need bone grafting before All-on-X treatment?
Is a sinus lift always needed for upper jaw dental implants?
Why do you issue an acrylic teeth in a day instead of a porcelain/ceramic teeth in a day?
