Dr Maurice Lim
Dr Maurice Lim (BDS, NUS) is a dental surgeon with advanced training in implant dentistry and a strong focus on precise, long-term clinical outcomes.
He graduated from the National University of Singapore and went on to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Implant Dentistry at the University College London Eastman Dental Institute, graduating with Distinction. He further refined his clinical skills through an attachment at the International Team for Implantology (ITI) Scholarship Centre at Queen Mary University of London.
Dr Maurice has a keen interest in:
Implant dentistry and guided implant workflows
Minimally invasive and precision-based dentistry
Digital dentistry and treatment planning systems
He is also actively involved in Singapore’s dental community, contributing to the organisation of professional training programmes for fellow clinicians.
With experience across both public and private healthcare settings, Dr Maurice takes a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to treatment. During his time at the National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS), he trained alongside specialists in:
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Endodontics
Prosthodontics
His commitment to patient care was recognised with the “Service with an Extra Mile” (SMILE) award.
Dr Maurice is known for his calm, patient, and personable approach. He places strong emphasis on patient education and preventive care, ensuring that each patient understands their condition and treatment options clearly.
Whether he is:
Planning and placing dental implants with precision workflows;
Managing complex restorative cases with long-term stability in mind;
Or guiding patients through preventive and minimally invasive care,
Dr Maurice approaches every case with clarity, attention to detail, and a focus on lasting results.
Outside of clinical work, he volunteers with HealthServe Singapore, providing dental care to migrant workers. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his dog, Tobie, and exploring specialty coffee over meaningful conversations.
“Whenever possible, my first priority is to understand whether a tooth can be saved before considering removal. Root canal treatment and prosthodontic planning are not just about fixing pain or replacing teeth — they are about restoring function, protecting the bite, and helping patients keep their natural teeth for as long as predictably possible.”
