Your Dental Implant Dentist
Dr Dennis Heng
Dr Dennis Heng (BDS, NUS) is a dental surgeon with a focus on restoring missing and damaged teeth with dental implants at toofus™ Dental.
As a dedicated advocate for oral health in relation to systemic health, Dr Dennis believes in setting the right foundations before placing dental implants.
He firmly believes that empowered patients make the best decisions for their oral health, and does not force or prescribe over treatment to any of his patients. He is committed to making sure you fully understand your treatment options and encourages open dialogue and feedback every step of your dental journey.
His journey in dentistry began at public institutions like the National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS), Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, and polyclinics, where he honed his expertise in everything from crowns and dentures to root canal treatments and oral surgery.
For Dr Heng, dentistry goes beyond the clinic. His thirst for knowledge led him to explore forensic dentistry, where he earned his Masters from the University of Dundee.
He currently serves as a visiting consultant (forensic dentist) to the Health Sciences Authority and applies his critical eye for detail to help in investigations.
Dr Dennis frequently contributes to dental mission trips to Cambodia and the Philippines, where essential dental care and oral health education is rendered to underserved communities.
Dr Dennis has earned the Singapore Health Quality Service Award for his dedication to exceptional care in dentistry during his time in public service.
Whether you are nervous about your first visit or seeking ongoing care, Dr Dennis adopts a compassionate approach that helps to ease any fears that you may have about approaching a dentist for care.
“Whether it is single or multi-dental implants, precision matters. Replacing one or two teeth may seem simple, but every implant still needs careful planning. The goal is to make it look natural, feel stable, and function properly.”
